Saria Shroudbloom

"Oh! Would you like to buy some flowers? Are they for someone special?"

ꕥWELCOME TO SARIA'S FLOWER STALLꕥ

"You're not here to buy flowers?" The Miqo'te flower seller's ears droop ever so slightly. "You want to know more about me?" Dejection shifts into surprise. She hesitates before looking around, perhaps for her employer or someone else who might hold her accountable for loafing around. "One or two questions, maybe...?" she offers politely. "I'm Saria. It's lovely to meet you."

"I know I don't look much like a proper Keeper," Saria admits, gesturing toward her sky blue, slitted eyes. "I'm only half. My father was a Seeker, though I've never met him."She opens her mouth to prod at tiny pointed incisors with a fingertip. A moon-shaped earring dangles from one brown-furred ear, swaying as she tilts her head. "But my mother is from the Shroud! I grew up there. Gridania is home."

"My mother?" She glances away. "She's...difficult to track down. But I try to bring her money when I can. Fresh fruit, necessities from the city..." She trails off awkwardly. "But I'm twenty-two summers old now. It's silly to miss your parents so much as you get older, isn't it? Especially ones you've never met." There's a wistful note in her voice."Are you positive I can't interest you in a nice brightlily bouquet, or maybe some sunflowers? Surely you have someone who might appreciate them..."

21+, MATEUS, paragraph/mirror

You see a catgirl. No, not that one. ...Or that one either. This particular catgirl!"Aha," you think. "Maybe I'd like to RP with this particular catgirl. Golly, she seems swell." (Yes, your internal monologue is strangely old-timey for some reason. Work with me here.)But you hesitate. "I can't just walk up to or message the catgirl." Your mind proceeds to run through a series of worst-case scenarios."She could rip out my throat with her sharp (half) moon-kitty teeth," you think. And it's true--they are pretty sharp."Or," your pesky inner voice continues, "she's probably AFK. Is there anything worse than being ignored?" There are a few things, maybe, but it's still pretty bad.And then you whip out your final argument: "This catgirl has run past me like fifty times now. If she really wanted to RP with me, wouldn't she message or walk up to me first?!" Not if she's a coward. (And she totally is, by the way. ...At least ooc.)But you overcome your misgivings, unlike one of us (me). And you message or walk up and then we RP for hours! Wasn't that grand? We should do it again sometime.
